Sweden could be first country to go cashless as even churches are taking cards for offerings
Nation was first in Europe to bring in notes in 1661
Bills and coins now just 3% of Sweden's economy
Bank robberies plunge, but cyber crime surges

Sweden was the first European country to introduce bank notes in 1661.

Now it's come farther than most on the path toward getting rid of them.

'I can't see why we should be printing bank notes at all anymore,' says Bjoern Ulvaeus, former member of 1970s pop group ABBA and a vocal proponent for a world without cash.

The contours of such a society are starting to take shape in this high-tech nation, frustrating those who prefer coins and bills over digital money.

In most Swedish cities, public buses don't accept cash - tickets are prepaid or purchased with a cell phone text message.

A small, but growing number of businesses only take cards and some bank offices — which make money on electronic transactions — have stopped handling cash altogether.

'There are towns where it isn't at all possible anymore to enter a bank and use cash,' complains Curt Persson, chairman of Sweden's National Pensioners' Organization.

He says that's a problem for elderly people in rural areas who don't have credit cards or don't know how to use them to withdraw cash.

The decline of cash is noticeable even in houses of worship, like the Carl Gustaf Church in Karlshamn, southern Sweden, where Vicar Johan Tyrberg recently installed a card reader to make it easier for worshippers to make offerings.

'People came up to me several times and said they didn't have cash, but would still like to donate money,' Tyrberg says.

Bills and coins represent only three per cent of Sweden's economy, compared to an average of nine per cent in the eurozone and seven per cent in the U.S., according to the Bank for International Settlements, an umbrella organization for the world's central banks.

Three per cent is still too much if you ask Ulvaeus. A cashless society may seem like an odd cause for someone who made a fortune on 'Money, Money, Money' and other ABBA hits, but for Ulvaeus it's a matter of security.

After his son was robbed for the third time, he started advocating a faster transition to a fully digital economy, if only to make life harder for thieves.

'If there were no cash, what would they do?' says Ulvaeus, 66.

The Swedish Bankers' Association says the shrinkage of the cash economy is already making an impact in crime statistics.

The number of bank robberies in Sweden plunged from 110 in 2008 to 16 in 2011 — the lowest level since it started keeping records 30 years ago. It says robberies of security transports are also down.

The prevalence of electronic transactions — and the digital trail they generate — also helps explain why Sweden has less of a problem with graft than countries with a stronger cash culture, such as Italy or Greece, says economics professor Friedrich Schneider of the Johannes Kepler University in Austria.

'If people use more cards, they are less involved in shadow economy activities,' says Schneider, an expert on underground economies.

The flip side is the risk of cybercrimes. According to the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention, the number of computerized fraud cases, including skimming, surged to nearly 20,000 in 2011 from 3,304 in 2000.

It's no surprise that Sweden and other Nordic countries are at the forefront of this development, given their emphasis on technology and innovation.

For the second year in a row, Sweden ranked first in the Global Information Technology Report released at the World Economic Forum in January.

The Economist Intelligence Unit also put Sweden top of its latest digital economy rankings, in 2010.

Both rankings measure how far countries have come in integrating information and communication technologies in their economies.

The Norwegian Bilderberger Scam

” If you live in Norway remember: You have all this money, you are not in financial crises as your government tells you and you should look out for vultures circling the skies.

And there’s an explanation called : Oil.

The Norwegian Crown Prince attends the Bilderberger meetings frequently. ( 2011 )

If one studies the list of 2011 one will find that: Oil, finance and Social Media is well represented. And so are the usual suspects.
One could use sense of logic or intuition and maybe come to the conclusion that part of the agenda was to manipulate the Oil prize, a strategy for Gadhafi, and tighten the Internet surveillance agenda.
Since the meeting Facebook has come up with new “ innovative “ ideas for voluntary being spied on, Apple launched its “ iCloud “ and so on.
And of course to come up with a further and ongoing plan to push P.I.G.S over the economic cliff, as soon as they are sucked dry of the very last Euro and the middle class in Europe, has gone into further economic slavery. PIGS, is a term used by the financial market. PIGS are: Portugal, Ireland, Greece and Spain.

Back to the Bilderberger Norway design and Royalty and Oil. A most toxic mix.

Did you know that Norway is one of the strongest economies in the world ?
People in Norway certainly don’t. Norway is richer that Bahrain. And yet, austerity measures are imposed on the Norwegian people, with cuts in their welfare system. In fact, Norway is one of he most expensive countries in the world to live in, as for: Food, housing, and general necessities.

Norway has estimated 3.100 trillion crowns in her Oil Foundation. That equals 533.200.000.000 US $. That’s about: 106.640 US $ for each person in Norway. Now I´m not a number geek, but this is a lot.

Did they think, that the elite wouldn’t target this kind of money? Think again. Well, the Matrix cant start a war on the grounds of “ implementing democracy”, because they kind of have one already (why is there royalty in democracies), so they have to snatch it with other strategies. The Money is placed in a construction called The Government Pension Fund. Clever name. Their Minister of Finance Sigbjoerg Johnsen set it off about 15 years ago.

What has all this to do with the Crown Prince?

A lot. On the Bilderberger meeting he will find sweet, sweet relatives as Queen Beatrix of Holland, That’s Shell. Be-a-matrix, is one of the richest people in the world, and has a heart for the people and countries she exploits, about as warm as an ice cream stand on the North Pole.
I really don’t know how the Matrix succeeded, especially in Scandinavia and The European continent, to convince the public that Royalty doesn’t own a nickel.
That’s the opinion of the media and is presented as: The truth to the struggling public.
In UK they at least know, well some do, that The Queen owns 1/6 of the planets surface based land, that’s approx. worth £17,600,000,000,000. And still she thinks she’s so poor that she applies for poverty help to shine up her palaces!
So I guess that royalty has to be in on it, one way or the other.

If the Norwegians think, that Håkon is watching DVD´s in his room while the Bilderberger´s discuses economy, they are about to enter a stupid mans trap.

Let me go back to The Government Pension Fund :
The Prime Minister of Norway Stoltenberg is of course Bilderberger, and so is their Minister of Finance Sigbjoern (Sigbjørn) Johnsen.

He states to the media and the people of Norway: “ The fund is set to finance daycare and care for the elder. And so the fund will do well to all the people of Norway eventually. The money in the fund belongs to the people of Norway, and the political system will administer it “. Very social and democratic. Such a wonderful person.

But, big surprise: He went shopping in London: Norway byes Regent Street. Kind of a long trip in the morning, with the little ones, or a visit to granny.

Then they bought some of Champs-Elysees: Norway buys $1 billion of real estate. And that’s just two, shopping tours, but what´s interesting is, that it´s Illuminate Strongholds, they are buying.
Who benefits?

Just a tiny example : There is currently a waiting list in Oslo counting 3100 kids, who needs daycare. So I think its fair to say, that the money isn`t taking that direction.
Norway supports the Gates Vaccine foundation with 4 billion.
And what have we in Norway on Svalbard ?
Another Bilderberg construction, closely tied in with Bill Gates and that bunch: The Doomsday Vault.

The Crown Prince is a key person of the Al Gore Co2 agenda in Norway. Why is The Crown Prince interesting: He´s got the sympathy of the Norwegian people, and he’s promoting the Bilderberger designs to the public. And in Norway as maybe for the rest of Scandinavia, the public tends to look up to royalty and to engage in their belief system.

I think that Norway is being robbed blind. I´m not saying that Håkon is the robber here, but his buddies are, and they wouldn`t be his buddies if here were standing in their way. Thats a club rule.
Royalty do what is does best in the social conditioning program of the Elite : They promote, and is not seen as being the Elite itself, economically. Clever design, but a false design.

If you live in Norway remember:
You have all this money, you are not in financial crises as your government tells you and you should look out for vultures circling the skies.

The Norwegian rabbit hole goes very deep, and is very sinister.

( The week after the 2011 Bilderberg meeting Soros visited Oslo and Prime Minister Stoltenberg. About a month later the Oslo bombing took place. )

Brave and Noble English Defence League to Unite European Whites against Neanderthal Muslims!

03.02.2012

A quiet Danish town of Odense, the birthplace of the great storyteller Hans Christian Andersen, is close to becoming the arena for clashes between natives and immigrants from Muslim countries. Danish websites are full of reports stating that followers of Islam are particularly aggressively squeezing the Danish from the local area of Volsmese.

Once Andersen named island Fyn where Odense is located, the "Garden of Denmark." Today, however, the city does not match the romantic description. According to the Internet portal Bt.dk referring to police sources, immigrants from Muslim countries conduct targeted attacks nearly exclusively at the indigenous population. "If your last name is Hansen or Nielsen and you live in Odense, especially in the area of Volsmese, the risk of being robbed is several times higher than that for those with foreign last names," says the Danish website.

"Robberies of ethnic Danes became particularly frequent in the past few months. There is something racist about it. As a result of frequent crimes against local residents, we observe that the indigenous islanders began to leave their homeland. Over the past four months 150 robberies have been officially reported, 90 percent of which were committed against ethnic Danes," said a police officer.

Also read: Germany to be conquered by Islam

"Many young criminals openly admit that they want to make Volmese their own. Last year there was a case where a Danish family home was subjected to vandalism and theft several times a week, until finally, they decided not to come home and left. Many of robberies resemble vandalism and terrorism, and look like revenge or threat. Everybody knows about it, although the government continues to hide it well", the policeman said.

In turn, the newspaper Kristeligt Dagblad reported that particularly observant Muslims chased one of the Iranian immigrants. "Young people told me that I should not drive with a cross in the car. Then our car was smashed and set on fire. We bought another car, but the windows were broken three times already ... My kids do not wear headscarves, as 99 percent of other local children, therefore they attract more attention. It was simply not safe to let them go play. We decided to move as far away from Volsmese as possible," a victim said.

As for the police chiefs of the island, they acknowledge the sharp rise in crime, but are not willing to comment on a possible ethnic or religious background of the incidents. "I have no idea why criminals check the name on the mailbox before they rob a house," said a police spokesman. His subordinates, apparently, are more talkative, albeit they wished to remain anonymous.

Hiding the national background of the crimes, the police leadership of Odense contradicts the actions of the authorities in Denmark. Folketing (parliament) last year voted to restore control at the borders of the country. The main reason is openly talked about: the problem of immigration. Copenhagen fears that a wave of refugees from North Africa will exacerbate the already difficult situation that developed in Scandinavia with immigrants from Asia and Africa.

Also read: Slowly and surely, Europe rises against Islam

Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian media recently were filled with reports of street war between the youth of the "white" and immigrant areas in the streets of Copenhagen, Malmo and Oslo. The police claimed that the fights have to do with drug traffickers arguing over the territory. However, few Danes (as well as Swedes and Norwegians) believe this.

Current developments in Odense showed that the problem of the relations between indigenous and immigrant Danish Muslims growing for half a century has fully matured in Denmark. When in the early 1960s the country was in need of unskilled labor, and later showed humanism towards the residents of 'hot spots', hardly anyone thought that the immigrants would be so ungrateful with respect to their host country. When today their number has reached 200,000 (out of five million), things took a nasty turn.

However, we cannot say that Muslims are the only ones to blame. The Danish government remained silent about this issue for years and toyed with the Islamists. Former Prime Minister of Denmark and now NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has allowed hosting the "World Chechen Congress" in Copenhagen with militant emissary Akhmed Zakayev as a guest in the days of the tragedy of the "Nord-Ost". The Danish authorities also sluggishly reacted to the preaching of Islamic nature heard from some houses of worship.

Also read: Muslim immigrants want Switzerland to change national flag

The other side of the coin is the notorious political correctness that at times developed into permissiveness. On September 30, 2005 the Danish newspaper Jyllands Posten published cartoons of the prophet Muhammad. Since depicting the prophet is prohibited in Islam, Muslims rebelled. But Fogh Rasmussen refused to apologize even when fervent Islam followers broke into the Danish Embassies and Muslim countries one after another began to curtail the economic and political ties with Denmark.

Had Rasmussen apologized, there may not have been riots in the embassies and repeated attempts to kill the author of the first cartoons Kurt Vestergor. Perhaps the relationship between the native Danes and immigrants from Muslim countries would not have strained to the limit. The government also blessed the immigrants for the idle life on benefits. According to various estimates, up to 40 percent of all benefits in the country are paid to Muslim immigrants.

On the other hand, a significant proportion of Muslims did not abide by the local rules. Denmark legalized such questionable from the standpoint of religion (and not just Islam) things like same sex marriage, abortion, and recreational drugs. The existence of Christiania district in Copenhagen area, known for its particularly frivolous nature, is not to the liking of many Danes either. However, it is up to the Danes to decide how to run their own country. No one likes it when the guest drives the host of the house. The hosts in this case are the Danes, no matter how immoral.

When it comes to outright driving of the Danes out of the city where an object of their national pride was born, things take a very nasty turn. Incompatibility of the two mentalities and ideologies threaten to grow into an open confrontation. The authorities of Denmark are ignoring the issue at their own peril.

More than 10 anti-Islamic groups, led by the English Defence League, are expected to send representatives.

"There will be speeches from every defence league in Europe," said Isak Nygren, the spokesman for the Swedish Defence League. "I hope we can show that there's resistance against Islamisation of Europe, that we can inspire each other."

The EDL has held one European rally before, sending members to Amsterdam in 2010 in support of Dutch anti-Islamic politician Geert Wilders, who was in court accused of insulting religious and ethnic groups.

Mr Wilders, who has moved to distance himself from the EDL, is not expected to attend the event.

Stephen Lennon, the former football hooligan who formed the EDL three years ago, however said he was inspired by the Amsterdam gathering to link up with other far-Right groups in Europe, setting up the European Freedom Initiative.

He described the planned gathering, in Aarhus on March 31, as the "first proper European event".

"We're hoping this will be the launch of a wider European Defence League," he said. "We don't expect it to be big, but our first event wasn't that big, and they're just going to get bigger and bigger."

Mr Lennon, who was convicted of assault in November 2011 after headbutting another EDL member at a rally, said his members were prepared for violence.

"The likelihood is that the local Islamic community will come and attack us, aided and abetted by the far-Left," he said. "We come to protest peacefully, it's not our fault that when we come out, that they come to try and bash our heads in."

Imran Shah, the spokesman for the Islamic Society of Denmark, urged Muslims to stay away from the rally and called on the Danish government to act against the growing movement, especially in the wake of last year's massacre of 77 people by Norwegian far-Right extremist Anders Behring Breivik.

"We've seen what the rhetoric of hate can do in Norway. Do we want some deaths here before we react?", he said.

Breivik was an early European supporter of the EDL, attending a rally in Bradford in 2010, and claiming hundreds of EDL members as his Facebook friends.

Matthew Goodwin, an expert on the far-Right at Nottingham University, said that the EDL's move into Europe is worrying.

"It shows us something that I don't think British commentators have grasped, which is that elsewhere in Europe, the EDL is seen as being

quite a significant movement," he said. "When you look at guys like Anders Breivik and the Danish Defence League, we can see how groups in

Europe are looking at Britain and the EDL as a model."

Weyman Bennet, a spokesman for Unite Against Fascism, said: "Everywhere they've called a demonstration there's been violence. Across

Europe, the Sweden Democrats and the Danish People's Party, all of them are growing by using this rhetoric. We see them as a group of

people who will try and encourage fascist politics they've simply swapped anti-semitism for anti-Islam."

Denmark is a natural choice for the EDL to launch its first European march.

The Danish People's Party is one of the most electorally successful anti-immigrant parties in Europe, winning 12.3 per cent in elections last September. The Danish Defence League has grown rapidly since its founding a year ago, with chapters already set up in more than 10 Danish cities.

: Anders Behring Breivik was a "male chauvinist" who did not know how to treat women, his last known girlfriend has said.

Breivik met the woman, who the paper refers to as Natascha, on a dating site in 2005, and then travelled to see her in her home town of Minsk, Belarus, before bringing her to stay with him in Oslo.

The woman said discovering that her former boyfriend had killed so many people had been "simply terrible".

A liberal Swedish politician has sent a shot over the bow of that country’s home school community. Writing in a Swedish newspaper, with a follow-up posting on her blog, Lotta Edholm (left) of Sweden’s Liberal Party called for changes to the country’s laws that would allow government social workers to more easily take children away from home school families.

Declared Edholm: “Today I write with Ann-Katrin Aslund on Aftonbladet’s debate page that the social services law should be amended so that social services are able to intervene when children are kept away from school by their parents — often for religious or ideological reasons.”

The Alliance Defense Fund (ADF), a U.S.-based conservative legal advocacy group, noted that Edholm’s recommendation comes at a time when home school families in Sweden are under severe assault. The ADF, in partnership with another U.S. group, the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), has come to the legal aid of a Swedish home school family whose nine-year-old son was abducted by the Swedish government in 2009. According to an ADF press release, Swedish officials “seized the child because they believe home schooling is an inappropriate way to raise a child and insist the government should raise [him] instead, even though home-schooling was legal in Sweden at the time he was taken into custody.” After Swedish courts sided with the government in its seizure of the boy, ADF and HSLDA attorneys asked the European Court of Human Rights to hear the case, explaining that Swedish authorities would not allow the family to be represented in Sweden’s courts by the foreign attorneys.

HSLDA’s Mike Donnelly said that “Sweden’s educational policy is becoming increasingly totalitarian,” adding that “a country that does not permit home education is not really a free country.”

The home school advocacy group noted that the Swedish government has been cracking down on home school families for many years. “In 2010 the Swedish Parliament changed its basic education law, making it virtually impossible to obtain permission to home school,” the group reported in an update on the state of home schooling in the country. “The previously enacted 1985 school law had allowed parents to apply for permission from local authorities, where permission was mostly granted. However, the changes made by the Swedish Parliament now require ‘exceptional circumstances’ and also make it possible for parents to be criminally prosecuted if they don’t send their children to school — something that was not possible under the previous law.”

For the last two years virtually no family in Sweden has been given permission to home school, explained Jonas Himmelstrand, president of the Swedish Association for Home Education. Himmelstrand knows personally the hardship of trying to educate children at home in a country that is trying criminalize the practice. He and his wife have been in court for years over their family home school program, and the government has fined them at least $26,000 — an impossible sum for an average Swedish family.

Himmelstrand said that Edholm’s intransigent attitude toward home school families is representative of most government bureaucrats in Sweden. “Edholm argues that because children have a right to an education, this means that public school is the only valid option,” he explained to the HSLDA. But in light of the academic success most home school families — in Sweden and around the world — are having, such an attitude “is pure ignorance,” he said. “Home education is an effective and perfectly legitimate way for children to learn. Edholm’s argument is totalitarian and breaches fundamental democratic principles. It’s fine for the government to provide schools, but it goes against basic human rights norms to force every child to go to school.”

The problem, however, is that “in Sweden the line between parents and the state has become strongly blurred,” he said, adding that “many countries have education systems —such as England, Canada, the United States, and our Nordic neighbors — which show that democracies can and must make room for home education.”

ADF’s European legal adviser, Roger Kiska, said that parents everywhere — including in Sweden — have the right to do what is best for their children without the worry of government intrusion. “Swedish policy on home education is at odds with recognized international legal standards that uphold the right of parents to direct the education of their children,” he said.

HSLDA’s Mike Donnelly pointed out that “the right of parents to choose the kind of education their children receive is a fundamental human right recognized in international legal documents…. Somehow Swedish politicians have lost their way and are ignoring these basic human rights. Sweden has joined Germany in repressing educational freedom. It’s important that free people stand up to governments who persecute their own people.”

HSDLA noted that scores of home school families have fled Germany as that country’s officials “have sought crushing fines, jail sentences, and have even sought to remove children from otherwise functional families just because of home education.” Germany’s highest courts have sanctioned such action, arguing that home schooling encourages the creation of “parallel societies.”

Donnelly said that it is important for home school proponents in America to pay attention to what is happening elsewhere because such trends could be pushed by education “experts” in this nation. He noted at least one professor who is forwarding such ideology.

“In her book What Is Right for Children, Emory University School of Law Professor Martha Albertson-Fineman makes the argument that it is not enough that children have the opportunity to go to public school — they must all go to public school, meaning that home schooling and private schools should be banned,” Donnelly wrote recently.

He argued that such thinking “is one of the reasons why it is important for American home schoolers to be interested in what happens overseas. By fighting these ideas wherever they occur globally, we can prevent them from gaining traction here.”

_____________

Lotta Edholm Liberal Communist

My article in Aftonbladet on children who are denied schoolingreceived wide-spreadhave. A site in the United States calls it undemocratic indignant commentators and several agree. By a letter of concept which record also came between Hitler and me.

All children have the right to go to school. In Sweden has the right to schooling was now settled since 1842, and it is one of the most important reforms in Swedish history. It has led to greater opportunities for the individual to decide over their own lives and to greater prosperity for Sweden. It is also a reform that has become significantly less controversial over time.

It is important to maintain full-time schooling today. On the occasion of the debate that started with my debate article, I have now received a number of extraordinary mail from the United States that takes the side of the home teaching and criticise my support for the education requirement. I have also received similar criticism from home teaching warmonger in Sweden.

Homeschooling is a very small issue in Stockholm, but that may be interesting for reasons of principle. In recent years, we have seen in a handful of applications some of which come from a sect. I am in principle against homeschooling. Research shows that children feel good to go to school. Unfortunately, there are a number of cases in Stockholm where pupils for some reason do not go to school, and we do our utmost to prevent this. A good education is the best vaccine against exclusion in later life. At the same time, it is important to point out that it sometimes can be reason for homeschooling. Of the very few applications that Stockholm is not treated as meeting the requirements (even with the old, more generous legislation). This has also been confirmed in court when learning the decision of the Board of appeal.

I have deep respect for the individuals who operate the principled issue of home education. However, I think it is a bit odd that the national organisation for homeschooling in Sweden chooses to associate himself with an American organization that obviously promote the issue of home education in order to keep the children away from the rest of the world.

Among the more fun the mails I received, I found this quote, which I think is worth reproducing.

"Maybe you should just castrate your but if you cannot trust parents to care for and teach their children-or maybe you should just take the babies away right after they are born. That way you can brainwash them with all your liberal beliefs and raise them as little liberal, God-hating, commi-socialists. "

The magazine the world today has also drawn attention to this.

For the English speaking visitors I would like to this link recomend using.

Being a member of a criminal gang in Sweden can actually result in milder sentences for weapons offences as courts provide leniency in cases in which offenders have been shown to live in a hostile environment and need extra protection.

Following the recent spate of killings in Malmö, politicians have promised changes in Sweden's current weapons laws to curb the violence.

According to some court's interpretation of current laws, criminals can actually receive milder sentences because they operate in gang environments, the Sydsvenskan daily reported.

"One can be especially vulnerable when living in a dangerous environment and therefore have personal reasons to be armed," reasoned a judge in a case in 2009 where the minimum penalty was issued to a man who had an automatic pistol in his belt, according to prosecutor Jan Pernvi.

"So the court perceived it as mitigating circumstances that he was a professional criminal, even if it wasn't written in the sentence," Pernvi said.

Only about a week ago, a man in the organized crime group M-falangen in Malmö was sentenced for possession of an automatic rifle. The case has received broad media attention across the nation due to the verdict.

"Only four months in prison for possessing a Kalasjnikov, that's too damn short. What signals does that send?," Börje Sjöholm at the Malmö police murder squad told Sydsvenskan.

The Swedish Prosecutor General has reviewed 150 verdicts issued since 2007 regarding weapons crimes, finding a pattern whereby courts have been extra forgiving to gang members.

In Denmark on the other hand, the same circumstances would instead double the punishment for anyone on trial for weapons crimes, and now Swedish politicians want to see the same in Sweden.

Kazimir Åberg with the Court of Appeals proposed a change to current legislation, saying it should be considered whether the weapon could be used in a criminal act or is of an especially dangerous nature.

"We want to give the courts some guidance, and signal that they shouldn't be afraid to issue the full imposed penalty," he said.

However, Åberg doesn't believe that increased penalties will have a great effect on the most serious criminals.

"The killings we've seen in Malmö, either it's a sick person - which is then a separate problem - or something else, people who are very committed," he told the paper.

"In those cases increased penalties won't have any preventive effect."

"No more violence", and "This is bloody enough" the signs said, some of them with pictures of the 15-year-old boy who was shot dead on New Year's Eve.

"Where are the police, where is the safety," they marchers chanted.

There was music, a short speech, but no political action during the hour the plaza was filled with people.

"I feel elation when I see that so many have responded to our challenge. Today we form a united front against organized crime and illegal weapons," said one of the initiators, former Social Democrat Riksdag member Luciano Astudillo.

The meeting was first suggested via Facebook after the 15-year-old boy was killed, and a few days later, when another man was shot dead on a Malmö street in broad daylight, about 10,000 people rapidly signed up to partake.

Organizers of the demonstration encouraged people not to bring flags and banners as the protest was not of political nature, daily Dagens Nyheter reported.

Speakers emphasized the importance of changing the growing image of Malmö as an unsafe city.

"[Malmö] is such a young city and people move here because they think that's positive, but the violence denigrates that image and it frightens people," Astudillo told Dagens Nyheter.

The paper described the demonstration as dignified and calm.

When she first arrived in Sweden after her rescue from a Nazi concentration camp, Judith Popinski was treated with great kindness.

She raised a family in the city of Malmo, and for the next six decades lived happily in her adopted homeland - until last year.

In 2009, a chapel serving the city's 700-strong Jewish community was set ablaze. Jewish cemeteries were repeatedly desecrated, worshippers were abused on their way home from prayer, and "Hitler" was mockingly chanted in the streets by masked men.

"I never thought I would see this hatred again in my lifetime, not in Sweden anyway," Mrs Popinski told The Sunday Telegraph.

"This new hatred comes from Muslim immigrants. The Jewish people are afraid now."

Malmo's Jews, however, do not just point the finger at bigoted Muslims and their fellow racists in the country's Neo-Nazi fringe. They also accuse Ilmar Reepalu, the Left-wing mayor who has been in power for 15 years, of failing to protect them.

Mr Reepalu, who is blamed for lax policing, is at the centre of a growing controversy for saying that what the Jews perceive as naked anti-Semitism is in fact just a sad, but understandable consequence of Israeli policy in the Middle East.

While his views are far from unusual on the European liberal-left, which is often accused of a pro-Palestinian bias, his Jewish critics say they encourage young Muslim hotheads to abuse and harass them.

The future looks so bleak that by one estimate, around 30 Jewish families have already left for Stockholm, England or Israel, and more are preparing to go.

With its young people planning new lives elsewhere, the remaining Jewish households, many of whom are made up of Holocaust survivors and their descendants, fear they will soon be gone altogether. Mrs Popinski, an 86-year-old widow, said she has even encountered hostility when invited to talk about the Holocaust in schools.

"Muslim schoolchildren often ignore me now when I talk about my experiences in the camps," she said. "It is because of what their parents tell them about Jews. The hatreds of the Middle East have come to Malmo. Schools in Muslim areas of the city simply won't invite Holocaust survivors to speak any more."

Hate crimes, mainly directed against Jews, doubled last year with Malmo's police recording 79 incidents and admitting that far more probably went unreported. As of yet, no direct attacks on people have been recorded but many Jews believe it is only a matter of time in the current climate.

The city's synagogue has guards and rocket-proof glass in the windows, while the Jewish kindergarten can only be reached through thick steel security doors.

It is a far cry from the city Mrs Popinski arrived in 65 years ago, half-dead from starvation and typhus.

At Auschwitz she had been separated from her Polish family, all of whom were murdered. She escaped the gas chambers after being sent as a slave labourer. Then she was moved to a womens' concentration camp, Ravensbrück, from where she was then evacuated in a release deal negotiated between the Swedish Red Cross and senior Nazis, who were by then trying to save their own lives.

After the war, just as liberal Sweden took in Jews who survived the Holocaust as a humanitarian act, it also took in new waves of refugees from tyranny and conflicts in the Middle East. Muslims are now estimated to make up about a fifth of Malmo's population of nearly 300,000.

"This new hatred from a group 40,000-strong is focused on a small group of Jews," Mrs Popinski said, speaking in a sitting room filled with paintings and Persian carpets.

"Some Swedish politicians are letting them do it, including the mayor. Of course the Muslims have more votes than the Jews."

The worst incident was last year during Israel's brief war in Gaza, when a small demonstration in favour of Israel was attacked by a screaming mob of Arabs and Swedish leftists, who threw bottles and firecrackers as the police looked on.

"I haven't seen hatred like that for decades," Mrs Popinski said. "It reminded me of what I saw in my youth. Jews feel vulnerable here now."

The problem is becoming an embarrassment for the Social Democrats, the mayor's party.

Their national leader Mona Sahlin - the woman who is likely to become the next prime minister after an election later this year - last week travelled to Malmo to meet Jewish leaders, which they took to be a sign that at last politicians are waking to their plight. After the meeting, the mayor, Mr Reepalu, also promised to meet them.

A former architect, he has been credited with revitalising Malmo from a half-derelict shipbuilding centre into a vibrant, prosperous city with successful IT and biotech sectors.

His city was - until recently at least - a shining multicultural success story, and has taken in proportionally more refugees than anywhere else in Sweden, a record of which it is proud.

Sweden has had a long record of offering a safe haven to Jews, the first of whom arrived from the east in the mid-nineteenth century. Today the Jewish population is about 18,000 nationally, with around 3000 in southern Sweden.

The mayor insisted to The Sunday Telegraph that he was opposed to anti-Semitism, but added: "I believe these are anti-Israel attacks, connected to the war in Gaza.

"We want Malmo to be cosmopolitan and safe for everybody and we have taken action. I have started a dialogue forum. There haven't been any attacks on Jewish people, and if Jews from the city want to move to Israel that is not a matter for Malmo."

Sweden has had a long record of offering a safe haven to Jews, the first of whom arrived from the east in the mid-nineteenth century. Today the Jewish population is about 18,000 nationally, with around 3000 in southern Sweden.

“Jews came to Sweden to get away from persecution, and now they find it is no longer a safe haven,” said Rabbi Shneur Kesselman, 31. “That is a horrible feeling.”

One who has had enough is Marcus Eilenberg, a 32-year-old Malmo-born lawyer, who is moving to Israel in April with his young family.

"Malmo has really changed in the past year," he said. "I am optimistic by nature, but I have no faith in a future here for my children. There is definitely a threat.

"It started during the Gaza war when Jewish demonstrators were attacked. It was a horrible feeling, being attacked in your own city. Just as bad was the realisation that we were not being protected by our own leaders."

Mr Eilenberg said he and his wife considered moving to Stockholm where Jews feel safer than in Malmo. "But we decided not to because in five years time I think it will be just as bad there," he said.

"This is happening all over Europe. I have cousins who are leaving their homes in Amsterdam and France for the same reason as me."

Malmo's Jews are not the only ones to suffer hate crimes.

At the city's Islamic Centre, the director Bejzat Becirov pointed out a bullet hole in the window behind the main reception desk.

Mr Becirov, who arrived in 1962 from the former Yugoslavia, said that windows were regularly smashed, pig's heads had been left outside the mosque, and outbuildings burnt down - probably the acts of Neo-Nazis who have also baited Jews in the past.

He said that the harassment of Jews by some young Muslims was "embarrassing" to his community. Many of them are unemployed and confined to life on bleak estates where the Scandinavian dream of prosperity and equality seemed far away.

For many of Malmo's white Swedish population, meanwhile, the racial problems are bewildering after years of liberal immigration policies.

"I first encountered race hatred when I was an au pair in England and I was shocked," said Mrs Popinski's friend Ulla-Lena Cavling, 72, a retired teacher.

"I thought 'this couldn't happen in Sweden'. Now I know otherwise."

MALMO, Sweden — The Swedish government has registered a new official religion, and not everyone is happy about it, especially some businesses who fear the move may hurt their profits.

The sect is called Kopimism. It espouses data freedom and copyright piracy.

The Missionary Church of Kopimism has drawn in more than 3,000 members with its message of “All knowledge to All.”

Kopimi (pronounced ‘copy me’), as adherents are known, revere the sacred symbols Control-C and Control-V, and engage in file sharing as a kind of communion. “Being recognized by the state of Sweden is a large step for all of us kopimi,” Isak Gerson, spiritual leader of the Church of Kopimism said.

"Hopefully, this is one step towards the day when we can live out our faith without fear of persecution."

The Church was registered by Sweden’s Karamkollegiet just before Christmas, but Gerson, a philosophy student at the University of Uppsala, said he had only learned of it this week.

Gerson, who has links to Sweden’s anti-copyright Pirate Party, applied for constitutional recognition more than a year ago, and has been required to formalize the kopimi way of prayer and meditation.

“Some people think this religion is a joke,” wrote Rick Falkvinge, the Pirate Party’s founder on Thursday. “Get that idea out of your head immediately.” He said being recognized as a religion could provide new legal protections for file-sharers, potentially making it illegal for the authorities to use ‘confessional’ communications between Kopimi adherents as evidence in a trial.

“The communications between operators of trackers and the people who partake in the sacrament of copying now carries confessional status, by and large making it illegal and impossible to collect as evidence in a trial,” he argued on his blog. “That brings a whole boatload of interesting legal ramifications with regards to trying to persecute the worshipers of holy copying and remixing.”

Wave of shootings baffle Swedish police
By LOUISE NORDSTROM | AP - Thu, Jan 5, 2012

STOCKHOLM (AP) — A new wave of execution-style shootings in Sweden's third largest city has left police puzzled, raising concerns that Malmo has become a magnet for gang-related killings.

On Thursday dozens of police took to the streets in the southern Swedish city of 250,000 to try calm the public and to collect tips about the attacks, which come only a year after a suspected serial shooter was arrested there.

"We've never experienced anything like this before. It's exceptional that there have been so many murders in such a short period of time," police spokesman Lars-Hakan Lindholm said. "People are worried of course and want to talk about it."

In less than six weeks, five people have been shot dead in execution-style killings, prompting local police to ask for back-up from national investigators and for Malmo Mayor Ilmar Reepalu to call on the country's justice minister to implement tougher gun laws.

Sweden's gun control laws are fairly strict. Penalties for possessing illegal arms typically involve fines or up to one year in prison, but serious breaches of the law can result in a four-year sentence.

Lindholm said that due to the fast escalating death-toll police presence has now been bumped up by about 30 extra officers in the city on weekdays and by around 40 on the weekends. Malmo is an eclectic city, where about 40 percent of its residents are first- or second-generation immigrants.

The latest murder occurred on Tuesday, when a man in his late 40's was shot dead in broad daylight on an open street near his Malmo home.

Two days earlier, a 15-year-old boy was killed in the midst of the Malmo New Year celebrations.

"They're almost like executions," Lindholm said of the killings, but noted that there are still no suspects in the slayings and police remain baffled to what the motives might be.

The killings have upset many Malmo inhabitants who, just last year, saw the end of a near seven-year shooting terror by a lone gunman that targeted immigrants.

That suspect, 39-year old Peter Mangs, is currently facing charges for allegedly killing three people and attempting to murder another 13 victims in a series of sniper-like attacks.

Police say they see few links between Mangs and the latest shootings however, having largely ruled out that they're dealing with a copycat.

Instead, they indicate the incidents could possibly be gang-related, as the victims seem to have been carefully picked out.

"There is nothing pointing to that these are random shooting acts. There have been specific targets and the targets have been hit," Superintendent Borje Sjoholm told reporters at a newsconference earlier this week.

"There are some common denominators between the five murders," he added.

In the light of the shootings, demonstrators will stage a protest against organized crime and illegal arms in Malmo on Friday. Some 4,800 people have so far signed up for participation.

Source-UK Guurdian  Anders Behring Breivik phone calls to police

A recording of a call made by Anders Behring Breivik to Norwegian police in which he offers to surrender after shooting a number of people on Utøya island has been released.

The audio clip is the first time the public have been able to hear the voice of the rightwing fundamentalist, who killed eight people in a bomb attack in Oslo before going on to shoot dead 69 more on Utøya on 22 July.

The 32-year-old introduces himself as "Commander Anders Breivik of the Norwegian anti-communist resistance movement". He tells the emergency operator he wants to give himself up but hangs up after being pressed for his mobile number.

After resuming shooting for 20 minutes he makes a second call, telling police: "I completed my operation … so I want to … surrender." He claims to be a member of the Knights Templar in the call, which is only available as a transcript.

Geir Lippestad, the lawyer representing Breivik, told the Norwegian television station TV2, which obtained the recording, that it raised questions about his client's state of mind.

He said: "It is difficult to understand why he did not put down the gun when he thought he had done enough damage."

John Christian Elden, the lawyer representing Breivik's victims, said the recording would be an unwelcome reminder for them. "They are not very happy to hear his voice broadcast into their living rooms, especially those who were at the island and heard him shout," he said.

Breivik made the call about 50 minutes after arriving on Utøya island where, disguised as a police officer, he opened fire on a Labour Party youth camp.

He has said he tried to call police at least 10 times during the Utøya attack but only got through twice.

Breivik killed 77 people in total in the shootings and bomb attacks before surrendering to a police Swat team.

Norwegian Schools to segregate Whites

Source- UK daily mail

A Norwegian school segregated ethnic minority classmates because white children were feeling 'in the minority.'

The move, at Bjerke Upper Secondary School in Oslo, divided students and parents, sparking an protests across the city.
Teachers at the school claim the segregation in one of the three general studies classes was a result of many white Norwegians changing schools after feeling they were in ‘the minority’ in classes
After authorities were alerted by concerned parents the school was forced to send a letter to parents apologising and promptly scrapping the scheme.

But Robert Wright, a Christian Democrat politician and former head of the city's schools board said authorities had been wrong to block the move claiming other Oslo schools follow Bjerke's example to stop a situation of 'white flight.'

'I think we have to try this to see how it's functioning,' he told The Daily Telegraph. 'Bjerke School has come up with a radical solution to a real problem, but the politicians have just said 'no'.'

Oslo education minister Torge Ødegaard said any segregation on race was unacceptable.'
Immigration has become a difficult subject for Norwegians after Anders Breivik, the anti-Islamic extremist who massacred 77 people in Oslo in July, told police he wanted to spark a 'revolution' against the multiculturalism he believed was sapping Europe's heritage.

Currently there are 420,000 ‘non-Nordic’ citizens who immigrated between 1990 and 2009, and who make up 28 per cent of Oslo's population.
The school’s decision was only discovered after parent Avtar Singh, a Punjabi Norwegian, confronted Gro Flaten, the school's headmistress, on why his son, Gurjot, had no ethnic Norwegian classmates.

'She said straight out that the school had experienced ethnic Norwegian students dropping out if they weren't grouped together in smaller classes,' he told the Dagsavisen newspaper.

Mrs Flaten told The Daily Telegraph: 'We made the decision because many Norwegian students were moving to other schools because they were in classes with such a high percentage of students from other nations. They seemed to be in a minority.'

Students at the school have spoken out against the policy.

'This is apartheid. They do this because I'm from Africa and my father is from Africa,' said Ilias Mohamed, 17, from Somalia, who was part of the immigrant-only class. 'But everyone of us is a Norwegian.'

Jews seek to make Denmark a Dual Citizen country

Danish citizens will soon be able to hold dual nationality if new policies presented by the coalition government become a reality.

It is currently not possible for Danes to obtain a second nationality without first relinquishing their Danish passports. And foreigners wanting a Danish passport have to give up their original citizenship in order to obtain it.

“Denmark is a modern society in an international world. It should therefore be possible to have dual citizenship,” stated the common governmental policy released last week.

Despite dual nationality holding wide political support, efforts to introduce it during the last government’s term were scuppered due to opposition from the Danish People’s Party (DF), according to Information newspaper. One of its politicians, the recently-retired Søren Krarup, called it “bigamy”.

“You can only have one nationality just as you can only have one identity,” he said after a proposal from the Liberal Alliance was shot down by parliament in 2009.

The current government believes otherwise, however, and looks set to open up the possibility of dual nationality – something expat organisation Danes Worldwide has long campaigned for.

According to its general secretary, Anne Marie Dalgaard, overseas-based Danes face many obstacles due to not being able to take on the citizenship of the countries in which they have settled in.

“They are not able to obtain the same job or credit opportunities, become board members, be active in political spheres, and may be worse-placed in cases of inheritance because they cannot take dual citizenship,” Dalgaard told The Copenhagen Post. “These are daily problems and are about wanting to be fully involved in the society in which you are living.”

Tina Thuesen and her family are familiar with these obstacles. Originally from Denmark, she and her husband moved to Switzerland 20 years ago to find work. Together they have three children, two of whom were born in Switzerland and one in Denmark.

“I almost started crying when I found out [about the proposal] because I know I’ll be much more secure,” Thuesen told The Copenhagen Post. “If I get a Swiss passport they can’t throw me out of Switzerland. And for most people living abroad, this is very important because it means you are now a part of society under law. That’s the most emotional part of it - I can be a legal member of society and they can’t kick me out!”

The security is particularly important for Thuesen’s children who will be able to build lives in both Denmark and Switzerland. Swiss citizenship will also enable Thuesen to become politically involved in the country in which she’s lived for the past 20 years.

Thuesen has been campaigning for dual citizenship through the website statsborger.dk. She believes it is possible to call two places home.

“Of course you can have loyalty to two countries, just like you can have loyalty to two children. I’m a big enough person to be able to have positive feelings towards more than one place or person,” she argued.

Dalgaard used a similar metaphor, saying that having dual citizenship is like loving your mum and dad – it is not mutually exclusive. And according to Dalgaard, the former government’s opposition to Danes taking dual citizenship and integrating while abroad was hypocritical.

“We expect foreigners coming here to integrate, but we prevent our citizens from doing it when they live abroad – it’s a double standard,” she said.

The rule change would also be welcomed by foreigners who now call Denmark home - one of whom is Larry Feinberg, who moved to Denmark from the United States 25 years ago. A member of Democrats Abroad, a US-based organisation for American Democrats living overseas, Feinberg has fulfilled all the requirements to become a Danish citizen – having passed the citizenship test and the language requirement – but refuses to give up his American passport to do so.

“Dual citizenship is important for people who have been living here a long time without the right to vote, despite paying taxes. I believe the right to vote is important,” he told The Copenhagen Post, adding that only citizenship in Denmark will give him true security. “I might have permanent residency, but it’s only as permanent as the rules are - if they change we could be deported.”

Dual citizenship might be some time coming, however. A majority of MPs voted against the proposal in 2009 despite the signatures of 10,000 Danes living abroad who demanded it. Even if it were to pass, an immigration lawyer contacted by The Post, estimated it may take up to five years to be fully approved.

Should it pass, however, Denmark would be joining a growing group of EU member states that allow dual citizenship. Twenty of the 27 EU countries allow for dual nationality. The most recent to join the club was Belgium in 2008, while Sweden joined in 2001.

If Denmark does follow suit, those longing for dual nationality feel the country will have accepted that the reality of identity and citizenship are subtler than the current rules acknowledge and that in a globalised world people are increasingly straddling more than one country or culture. And perhaps Denmark would get more out of its citizens if it promoted involvement and inclusion in society – wherever one might be – instead of forcing them to choose sides, a decision many find heart-breakingly difficult to do.

Sweden unsafe for white women and Jews

Sweden and Scandinavia Northern Europe

I hate to see the land of my beloved ancestral heritage being destroyed - and some Swedes become apoplectic when such a situation is even mentioned - but here are the facts. Read them and weep, because just a couple of decades ago Sweden had attained one of the most advanced cultures in history.

First we discover that Jews in the Swedish city of Malmo have been fleeing, because of violence and abuse from Muslims:

Sweden's reputation as a tolerant, liberal nation is being threatened by a steep rise in anti-Semitic hate crimes in the city of Malmo....

"I never thought I would see this hatred again in my lifetime, not in Sweden anyway," Mrs Popinski told The Sunday Telegraph.

"This new hatred comes from Muslim immigrants. The Jewish people are afraid now."...

The city's synagogue has guards and rocket-proof glass in the windows, while the Jewish kindergarten can only be reached through thick steel security doors.

It is a far cry from the city Mrs Popinski arrived in 65 years ago, half-dead from starvation and typhus....

A Swedish newspaper reports that the Swedish government now must set aside funds to protect Swedish Jews from Muslim hate crimes:

The Government will spend four million kroner in 2012 on increasing the security and decreasing the vulnerability of the Jewish minority. Research shows that even though tolerance is increasing in society, anti-Semitic views have not decreased to the same extent. The Jewish minority is the subject of anti-Semitic hate crimes and harassment. Even children are harassed in everyday life. Many Jews in Sweden are afraid of openly showing that they belong to the Jewish minority.

Bizarrely, Jewish organizations apparently think that bringing in hordes of those most inclined towards "anti-Semitism" will help solve the situation, as expressed by this Jewish woman, Barbara Lerner Spectre, who says:

I think there's a resurgence of anti-Semitism because at this point in time, Europe has not yet learned how to be multicultural. And I think we are going to be part of the throes of that transformation, which must take place. Europe is not going to be the monolithic societies [sic] that they once were in the last century. Jews are going to be at the center of that. It’s a huge transformation for Europe to make. They are now going into a multicultural mode, and Jews will be resented because of our leading role. But without that leading role, and without that transformation, Europe will not survive.

With this wave of delightful multiculturalism, Sweden has now become the rape capital of Europe:

Sweden has the highest incidence of reported rapes in Europe - twice as many as "runner up" the UK, a new study shows.

Researchers behind the EU study, which will be presented on Tuesday, conclude that rape appears to be a more common occurrence in Sweden than in continental European countries.

In Sweden, 46 incidents of rape are reported per 100,000 residents.

This figure is double as many as in the UK which reports 23 cases, and four times that of the other Nordic countries, Germany and France. The figure is up to 20 times the figure for certain countries in southern and eastern Europe....

Naturally, this article and others will not name the ethnicity/culture of the majority of rapists - Muslim immigrants - but Pat Condell has no problem doing so:

Yet, despite the reluctance to attach a name to the problem, the Swedish police are now admitting that "Islamic terrorism" is a major threat:

Islamic terrorism is key threat: Swedish police

Islamic terrorism remains the greatest threat to Sweden, according to Anders Danielsson, head of Sweden's Security Service (Säpo)....

Säpo's mission is furthermore to prevent terrorist crimes, Danielsson underlined.

"Our mission is not to get convictions for terrorist crimes, that is not a measure of our effectiveness," said Danielsson.

"We can and are likely to be exposed to terrorist attacks again. But it will not destroy our democratic system. Terrorism rarely does, even though it may seem that way."...

To summarize, in the face of Muslim violence, Jews are fleeing Sweden, while the government sets aside money to protect them. With Muslim immigration, Sweden has become the "rape capital" of Europe. Swedish police say the greatest threat to Sweden is "Islamic terror."

Jews admit Islamification of Europe is good for Jewish Leadership. Balkanization of Europe, then Civil War, then Jews assume leadership.

Neanderthal Arab Muslims claim 100% of Rape Statistics in Norway, De-Balled Western white men do nothing to Avenge???

Rape of White women in Europe nearly 90% done by barbaric Arabs

Muslim men are continuing their brutal campaign of rape against Norwegian women, according to a police report broadcast on a Norwegian television station.

According to the report, all assault rapes in the country during the past five years were committed by “non-Western” men, a clear euphemism for Muslims either from Africa, the Middle East, or Asia given the identity of most rapists in Scandinavia.

Shockingly, a woman police official discussing the rapes made excuses for the rapists in the video.

The news is hardly new. Muslim men have been conducting a wave of sexual terror against Norwegian women for some time.

The News Reports

According to the news report, “all sexual assaults involving rape in the past year has been committed by males of non-western background.”

This was the conclusion of a police report published today. This means that every single rape assault in the last five years, where the rapist could be identified, he was a man of foreign origin.(ARAB MUSLIM)

The broadcast repeatedly emphasized that the rapists were “non-Western.” “Today Oslo police presented the total figures,” the broadcast said, “revealing how in the past year, all sexual assaults involving rape have been committed by men of non-western background.” The statistics, the report said in almost comical understatment, are “troubling.”

From 2005-2010, a total of 86 sexual assaults involving rape was reported in 83 cases the man was described as having "non-western appearance." [T]these are all the cases in which the perpetrator could be identified by the victim.

Commenting on the news for reporters, a woman police official said that Norwegians have to understand that the rapists are underprivileged.

Many of the perpetrators who commit these rapes are on the edge of society often unemployed, arriving from traumatized countries. In the past five years it has often been asylum seekers.

Perpetrator: I Rape for Allah

A reporter for the station interviewed a Norwegian girl who suffered a brutal rape at the foul hands of a Pakistani immigrant. He told her his religion instructed him to violate her. According to the girl:

"He said, that he had the right to do exactly as he wanted to a woman."

[Reporter] Why?

"Because that is how it was in his religion. Women did not have rights or opinions[;] he was in charge."

Sexual Terror Against Western Women

That “non-Western” men, meaning Muslims, are conducting a veritable sexual war against Scandinavian women is undisputed, even by leftist media outlets in Norway and Sweden.

An article in Aftenposten in 2001 documented the problem: “Of the 111 charged with rape in Oslo last year, 72 were of non-western ethnic origin, 25 are classified as Norwegian or western and 14 are listed as unknown,” the paper reported.

Rape charges in the capital are spiraling upwards, 40 percent higher from 1999 to 2000 and up 13 percent so far this year. Nine out of ten cases do not make it to prosecution, most of them because police do not believe the evidence is sufficient to reach a conviction. … While 65 percent of those charged with rape are classed as coming from a non-western background, this segment makes up only 14.3 percent of Oslo's population. Norwegian women were the victims in 80 percent of the cases.

In other words, Muslims from Africa and other benighted Third World places are targeting Western women for rape.

In 2005, the blogger Fjordman reported on a similar rape wave in Sweden. A crime prevention study that year reported that Algerians, Libyans, Moroccans, and Tunisians "dominate the group of rape suspects," he reported. The same year, the newspaper Aftonbladet reported that nearly half of all rapists were immigrants.

Such was the rape problem in Sweden that a group of girls designed an anti-rape belt that functioned as a “reverse chastity belt,” one of the designers said. It didn’t keep women locked in; it kept men locked out. According to Agence France Presse:

The military-style buckle has a latch that the wearer has to move through a labyrinth into the correct position in order to unlock the belt.

"You need two hands to open it, so the rapist can't hold you down and open it at the same time. It takes a while to figure it out if you don't know what you're doing," she said. ...

"But I'm not doing this for the money," she said. "I'm really passionate about stopping rape. I think it's terrible."

Fjordman noted that the problem was so bad in Sweden that women are afraid to go outside.

As for the latest story, Aftenposten thought better of its original headline, “Foreigners over-represented in rape statistics,” and changed it to “New sexual culture shapes attacks.”

Perhaps. But “non-Western men,” meaning(ARAB) Muslims, are “shaping that “new sexual culture.” That culture, which is Islamic, sanctions the rape of Norwegian women.
